Kid Concoctions first started almost two decades ago when John and Danita Thomas were asked to demonstrate some of the amazing projects they made with their children on a local TV show in Cleveland. Their first appearance brought in hundreds of viewer phone calls and soon lead to a regular spot on the program.
John and Danita soon appeared on shows and channels including The CBS Early Show, Donny & Marie, Discover Channel and many more. They went on to host a national PBS pledge special called Kid Concoctions, which became the highest grossing Kids' pledge special in PBS history. Over the next six years, John and Danita hosted three more Kid Concoctions specials for PBS.
Their first book "The Ultimate Book of Kid Concoctions" was released in January of 1997, quickly jumped to #6 of all paperback books sold in the USA, and went on to sell over 4 million copies in just a few short years. John and Danita also speak regularly as authors, concoctors, parents and business people motivating others to live their dreams.
