About the Webcast: Communication in Marriage

Misunderstandings and hurt can bury love, but there is a way that couples can thrive and energize every area of their relationship. It starts with learning each others code—a collection of key words, actions, insights and attitudes that determine how a couple’s relationship works. Discovering that code grows and flourishes intimacy.

Bill and Pam Farrel, authors of The Marriage Code, will help you discover your spouse's code while sharing practical insight to your marriage relationship and answering your questions about communication in marriage during this special, LIVE webcast.

During the event, you can call (888) 465-6595 with your questions, or post a question in the Discussions tab above.

The Marriage Code

New from Bill and Pam Farrel

"It is possible to have a marriage that is smooth and satisfying, but you have to know and use the access code that keeps the connection to your spouse alive and well." — Bill and Pam Farrel, The Marriage Code

Codes are all around us: access codes for banking accounts, to make reservations for travel, or to gain entry into buildings or our own computers. Do you want to know how to use a code to move your marriage "above the line of success and security" where everything is good, life is enjoyable and romance sizzles?

In Bill and Pam Farrel's newest book, The Marriage Code, couples will learn the secret code to unlock love. With their characteristic humor, solid wisdom, and practical illustrations, the Farrels will help you use the marriage code to gain entry into your mate's heart and life. If you want to trade in conflict for connection, use The Marriage Code.

Do you have trouble communicating with your spouse? Does this inevitably lead to conflict? Our Web site's Communication and Conflict area of the Marriage Channel provides practical wisdom and expert advice for communicating well and managing conflict in a healthy manner.

Some of our article series include:

    • Learning to Communicate: Most couples need help to discuss their needs in a productive way. Having different attitudes toward talking doesn't mean there is something wrong with either spouse, that anyone was deceived, or that the marriage is hopeless.
    • Turning Your Marriage Around: You can't solve every marriage problem by changing your mind, but often it's a great place to begin.
    • The 'Love and Respect' Principle: Once you and your spouse understand what it means to love and respect, relational landmines can be avoided. The result can be greater love, deeper intimacy and movement toward the kind of marriage that God desires for you.
    • Fighting Fair: We need to examine healthy attitudes toward conflict resolution and begin to recognize that, in the final analysis, loving your spouse is a very real way to express your love for God. How we love our spouse has direct correlation to how we relate to and love our Creator.
